In just one week, we will unite in over 1,000 powerful protest rallies, marches, and demonstrations across the United States, Canada, and Europe. Research indicates that when a solid, non-violent, mass movement involving at least 3.5% of a nation’s population takes to the streets, it has the power to challenge and overturn authoritarian regimes. In the United States, this translates to roughly 12 million passionate individuals standing up for our democracy, representing many more who, despite their absence, share our commitment to freedom and justice. Together, we can make our voices heard and spark meaningful change. We Can Do This!
One of the cards we are releasing today will help boost turnout in the June 14th NO KINGS demonstrations and contribute to meeting the goal of having 12 million people peacefully protesting the Trump regime’s illegal gutting of our country. Our card is a bold invitation to join us. If possible, please download and print this card to distribute widely. More people than we know want to DO SOMETHING but don’t know how; this is a powerful way to engage them.
The second is a vitally important KNOW YOUR RIGHTS card, co-written, vetted, and translated by a bilingual attorney friend of Card Campaign, with English on one side and Spanish on the other. Once again, we ask that you distribute this card widely, particularly in areas where immigration authorities may target individuals. This card could save someone’s life; it’s a critical card.

Exploring the truth together, combating misinformation
It’s not just the Russians and Chinese spreading misinformation. The bad actor pool includes Americans working against democracy and attempting an authoritarian takeover of this country. These bad actors—along with the Chinese and Russian troll farms and misinformation mills—are spreading lies so quickly that it seems almost impossible to combat them. Yet we must get the truth out there.
So how can we combat so much misinformation?
The good news: many of us are doing something about it. Card Campaign remains in action and is spreading facts across the country. We research the relevant information on the critical concerns most Americans have. We then post the facts on two-sided cards. These cards are not meant to be mailed but pass-along and pick-one-up cards.
These are facts. They are verifiable. You can check them via the QR code on each card, which will take you to the sources. There is no disputing them, despite the misinformation that may have come your way in the past.
